My home in the main dates back to the seventeenth century and has retained many of its original features including our beautiful stained glass window above the main staircase. We have three units within the home - The Manor which is EMI nursing 19 residents. Most rooms are single and we also have companion rooms, most with en-suite facilities.
The Croft and The Cottage consists of 16 single rooms, all en-suite for frail elderly residents. The home is covered by a skill mix of Registered General Nurses and Registered Mental Nurses and trained Care Assistants.
The surrounding gardens are well maintained and accessible for summer strolls as well as being home to some of the local wildlife. We are conveniently situated near to Brookhouse and a short distance from Caton village where our local GP Dr Marriot has his surgery and looks after our residents on request. We have a regular bus service with a bus stop just outside the main gates giving access to Lancaster, Lonsdale, Ingleton and the surrounding areas.
