My home is situated in Lancaster close to the city centre, train and bus station.
We are a small, friendly home situated in our own grounds with beautiful gardens. The back gardens are fully accessible to our residents with disabled access, garden furniture, water feature and completely enclosed, only accessible from the main building.
We have 20 bedrooms, all single and mostly en-suite, and fully furnished but we encourage residents to bring their own belongings. There is a choice of three comfortable lounges incorporating dining areas.
We provide a warm, friendly, homely atmosphere whilst giving expert care to our residents, aiming to provide individual care with dignity, choice and respect. Visitors are welcome at any time where we can provide privacy and light refreshment upon request.
Staff encourage residents to take part in a wide range of organised activities and to continue with their own hobbies and interests for as long as possible.
Regular outings are arranged and relatives and friends are very welcome. We at the Lancaster home specialise in continuing care and early dementia and employ dedicated staff for the extra care needed for these residents.
